Dare to Diva, is looking forward to planning further regular music performances, from Carol Leeming & Random Acts of Senseless Beauty. After an impromptu storming set, of original and classic soul jazz funk songs, with encores from a lively and appreciative audience, at the new stylish Sugar Loaf Bar Braunstone Gate Leicester.
Carol Leeming with also be appearing Sun 29th June 2014 briefly at Summer Sounds & Spoken Words, part of the expanded (to 7 days ) Leicester Festival Indian Summer, with popular poet Bobba Cass and esteemed tabla player Rishii Choudry and friends at Exchange Bar Cultural Quarter Leicester.
Carol has also been invited to perform her poetry Mon 21st July 2014, 7.30pm at SHINDIG Western Pub, Nine Arches Press poetry night July 2014 held in Leicester.
In August 23rd 2014 , as part of the expanded Kaleidescope Cosmopolitan Arts Festival planned for the new Jubilee Square, City Centre Leicester. Carol will perform music with Neil Hunter, virtuoso keyboardist from her band the Random Acts of Senseless Beauty Band
Dare to Diva are pleased to present Oct 2nd 2014 at Embrace Arts , a reading/sharing of a new choreopoem, titled Love The Life You Live…Live The life You Love written by Carol Leeming. A monologue drama, featuring a character called Martin first introduced in The Loneliness of The Long Distance Diva choreopoem that was successfully performed at Curve theatre in 2012. This particular choreopoem being the second in a planned trilogy.
Dare to Diva will also be programing some of the most exciting Emerging musical talent Leicester has to offer, for the return of the Festival Funky Oct 18th 2014 Sumo Braunstone Gate.
