Carol Leeming, is one of the presenters for the Culture Show on 2 Funky Radio Station Leicester, broadcasting and promoting arts/culture generally and focused around Leicester Black History Season 2015. Her Show is on air on 95.1FM Weds Thurs Fri 2-4pm during the month of October 2015.
The month of October in Leicester has been filled with lots of Black History events, and Carol has interviewed a range of arts cultural practitioners some highlights include Filmaker Menelik Shabazz,Poet Jean Binta Breeze and the Rapper Poet The Floacist (a member of music group Floetry) and locals Music artist Bizzi Dixon and Maloujah Promoter and Manager.
The programmes presented by Carol also feature a playlist of a mix of genres of music of Black origin, from Afro Beat, Reggae Hip Hop,Drum & Bass to Soul Funk and Jazz.
